About this opportunity
DK Hughes have an exciting new opportunity for an administration apprentice to join the team to support their business in offering communications to customers both existing and new, along with supporting the work of internal employees.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Working closely with the Office Manager as the Administration assistant, you will complete a variety of administration tasks, ensuring compliance with strict regulations set by The Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (OFGEM).
Your main responsibilities and duties will include, although not be limited to:
1. Liaising with customers, suppliers, contractors, and energy companies.
2. Completing forms, scanning, photocopying, and updating spreadsheets.
3. Keeping accurate records.
4. Answering the phones in a professional manner, assisting with queries, and taking messages.
5. Placing orders and stock control.
6. Assisting with health and safety matters.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
1. Excellent work experience.
2. End-Point Assessment (EPA).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time employment prospects for the right apprentice upon completion of level 3 apprenticeship.
