Job Description
As Legal Director and Company Secretary responsibilities will include
* Lead and manage the legal and governance strategy of the company
* Provide strategic legal advice and guidance on various business matters
* Oversee and manage corporate activities
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
* Review and negotiate complex legal contracts and agreements
* Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies
* Coordinate with external legal consultants when needed
* Act as the point of contact for all legal matters within the company
The Successful Applicant
The successful Legal Director and Company Secretary should have:
* Significant in house experience ideally within a franchising business model
* Proven experience as a company secretary
* Some knowledge of or experience working within the FCA framework
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance commercial decision-making alongside complex legal requirements.
