Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Reporting primarily to the Engineering Supervisor, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout, and machinery used run at maximum efficiency. This includes, but is not limited to, total preventative maintenance, breakdowns of all mechanical and electrical nature, time management, and reporting. The role will lead the site maintenance function in providing both reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
* Salary: £50,000, paid weekly
* Annual Leave: 288 hours (based on hours due to the shift pattern)
* Tool Allowance: £250 per year
Candidate Requirements:
* Fully qualified in Engineering with a nationally recognized qualification relevant to the discipline of the role.
* Extensive plant-level experience with significant proven expertise.
* Ability to demonstrate diplomacy and objectivity in all dealings.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Experience in delivering effective, time-sensitive repairs, including prioritization, weekend PPM, and contractor control.
* Knowledge of relevant legislative bodies and instruments, with the ability to demonstrate effective supervision within these boundaries.
* Comprehensive knowledge of plant and machinery manufacturers and their contribution to site improvement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other engineering-specific programs.
Additionally, the candidate should be self-motivated and highly resilient.
