Red Bull UK is recruiting for a National Account Executive - Sainsbury's & Waitrose to be based in the UK.
The National Account Executive is responsible for achievement of volume, profit & net revenue targets, interacting closely with the wider Red Bull business including National Account teams, Net Revenue Management, Logistics, Finance, Brand & Category. The strategic direction of the company is to be followed with particular emphasis on the key pillars within the Grocery Channel. Supporting the National Account Manager, the role is crucial to the overall delivery of the Sainsbury’s & Waitrose plan. The NAE will be responsible for the day to day management of Waitrose, with full P&L accountability. The role is central to the development & creation of joint business plans to deliver profitable growth, as well as building & maintaining customer relationships. The NAE will work as a field champion for the Sainsbury’s account, working closely with the Acosta team to deliver first class communication & execution of Red Bull plans in store.
Key Responsibilities
ACHIEVEMENT OF AGREED GROWTH PLANS BY ACCOUNT
Deliver growth targets that are driven by business plans that are aligned & relevant to your customers & Red Bull priorities. Evaluation of activity within account with learnings applied.
FORECASTING, EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Forecast, drive growth & track development of the account in order to be able to make well informed, accurate & timely business decisions. Ensure accurate forecasts of base & promotional volume & point of sale material, with subsequent evaluation of activities undertaken for future implementation.
CUSTOMER CONTACT STRATEGY
Proactively manage customer contact strategy in order to remove obstacles to progress. Timely meetings with key contacts to ensure development of overall business plan. Contacts will include, but not be limited to Commercial, Logistics, Category, Finance & Operations.
RED BULL CONTACT STRATEGY
Build & maintain internal contact strategy to help meet overall account KPI’s. To include collaboration with eCommerce, Field Sales, Category, Logistics, Finance, Brand, Field & Shopper teams.
CATEGORY EXPERTISE
To become an expert in Online, Category, Consumer & Customer covering both your customer & Red Bull. Positive decisions based on insight both sought & made available. Work closely with internal category contacts & be able to utilise data & insights confidently.
BRAND ADVOCATE
To be a brand advocate to your customer, the trade & Red Bull & mirror the brand values in order to deliver enhanced brand perception at all times.
Minimum Requirements
Proven track record of achievement within a commercial environment.
Demonstration of prior high learning agility.
Experience of negotiating & running a joint business plan.
Evidence of building, utilising & driving a customer contact strategy.
Excellent communication, organisational & presentation skills.
Proven ability to handle, evaluate & utilise sales data & insights effectively.
Entrepreneurial self-starter with a focus on results & the customer.
