Administration Officer - Urgent Care Team Employer: Halton Borough Council Location: Runcorn Town Hall Contract: 6-month initial contract Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: £12.85 per hour Halton Borough Council is seeking a highly organised and motivated Administration Officer to join our dedicated Urgent Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a crucial service that plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive timely and effective care. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Urgent Care Team. Handle incoming communications, including calls and emails, and ensure they are directed appropriately. Maintain accurate records and input data into relevant systems. Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. Assist with the preparation of reports and other documentation. Work closely with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to support smooth service delivery. Person Specification: We are looking for someone who: Has experience in an administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or public sector setting. Demonstrates strong organisational and time-management skills. Is proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Can work well both independently and as part of a team. Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information professionally.
