Buying Administrator
Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, City of Leicester
Job Type: 5 month Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 Per annum
The Job:
Following procurement policies and procedures
Support the Procurement Team in delivering training to staff on procurement practices and use of the purchase request/purchase order system
Sourcing and purchasing a diverse range of products and materials
Build positive working relationships within the business
Support in all areas of procurement including negotiating contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
Ensure that all departments are fully informed of preferred suppliers
Identify and research potential new suppliers
To ensure all procurement related queries are dealt with efficiently
Raising purchase requests as required.
Setting up new suppliers
The Candidate:
Proven experience in a similar buying or procurement role
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Be Immediately Available or on Short Notice
The Job:
Salary £25,000 per annum
5 month Fixed Term Contract
