Following the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), Sizewell C is one of the UK's largest megaprojects, providing dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years. The project has obtained planning approval and Government financing support, with construction now underway. Responsibilities: Lead and manage on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to safety expectations, timelines, quality and budgets Obtain permits and consents for DCO compliance requirements Support Senior Project Manager and teams in developing sourcing strategies and tender documents Provide written and oral reports on H&S, progress, cost, environmental monitoring, and stakeholder relationships Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and milestones Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards Interface with other projects to maintain project overview and identify best practices Proactively identify and mitigate project risks Experience Required: Proven experience as Project Manager in large-scale infrastructure projects (£50-100m) Experience in similar projects like HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, or TfL 3/5 years experience of Road/Highway Project management You have exposure to contractor management and delivery of adoptable highways and associated structures and utilities. Skilled in development of programmes and resource management Civil engineering with a potential specialism in road construction Experience in contractor management and delivery of adoptable highways Significant experience in programme development and resource management Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Civil engineering background, ideally with road construction specialism Degree standard education or equivalent senior management experience IOSH Construction Safety Qualification/NEC3 Contract training (desirable) Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 or APM) and Primavera P6 (desirable) Good knowledge of CDM regulations (desirable) Salary, Hours and Location: £450 PAYE to £620 per day excellent benefits Site-based at Sizewell C, Suffolk Permanent, Full-time This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on one of Britain's most important infrastructure projects, working at the forefront of nuclear energy and sustainability in the UK.
