We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Professional Services Public Sector Team, with a specific focus on delivering solutions to police services across the UK. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of software solutions to police services, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to drive successful implementations, all while navigating the unique challenges of policing environments. This role requires NPPV3 clearance, as you will be handling sensitive police data and working within secure environments. The Role You will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that contractual requirements, milestones, and deliverables are fully met. A crucial part of the role will involve working closely with both customer and partner project managers, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be responsible for facilitating a seamless handover from the sales team before project kick-off, setting the foundation for successful delivery. Working within multi-disciplinary and virtual teams, you will lead, motivate, and manage colleagues, partners, and third-party suppliers. Your ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across all levels will be key to maintaining project momentum and achieving positive outcomes. You will also develop and monitor project plans, Project Initiation Documents (PID), and Risk and Issue Logs (RAID) to ensure that all aspects of the project are managed effectively. A smooth transition to the customer success team will be a key focus as projects progress towards completion. Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you will have an advanced ICT qualification and at least three years of experience managing software implementation projects for police services. You will be certified in PRINCE2, CAPM, or PMP and bring proven expertise in customer-facing roles within software companies. Your ability to manage complex projects, engage with stakeholders, and drive results will be critical. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills are essential, along with a proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving.
