This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our oversubscribed upper school. We are on a journey of rapid improvement and seek inquisitive, positive, dynamic, and resilient colleagues for our excellent English department.
Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a Teacher of English. The department is well-resourced, with opportunities to teach across all Key Stages.
Ideally, we would like to appoint someone who has:
1. An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
2. An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in English Language and English Literature
3. An awareness of concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series
