Role: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Plymouth (willingness to travel to other centres)
Contract: Full time, term time only (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £20,335 - £22,130

About the role:
* Engage learners in the lessons, creating a love for learning, by supporting the teachers/instructors
* Help learners build confidence and develop their self-esteem
* Support the delivery of key life skills
* Provide essential support in line the learners’ specific needs and ILP’s
* Take part in staff appraisals and CPD opportunities
* Complete specific SEND paperwork
The ideal candidate:
* Previous experience working as a teaching assistant/learning support assistant
* Previous experience working with SEND learners is desirable
* Confident in supporting the delivery of core subjects (such as English and Maths)
* Able to drive and have access to your own car
* Creative, imaginative and enthusiastic
* Passionate, resilient and a genuine desire to make a real difference
* An enhanced DBS check (a willingness to obtain one)
This position is for Monday - Fridays, term time only (41 weeks per year). You must be available to start as soon as possible.
