The Role We have an exciting opportunity for individuals with information analysis experience to join the small Health Intelligence Team (HIT) within the NHS Lanarkshire Public Health Directorate. Your work will be wide ranging from writing R script to improve standard reporting processes, to leading on adhoc enquiries on a range of public health matters, to creating infographics, and turning information into intelligence to support better decision making. Working as part of the team you will be responsible for linking, analysing, interpreting, and presenting complex data from NHS and other data systems. This post requires highly developed information technology and analysis skills. You will be required to collaborate with non-analytical colleagues to best understand the data from a public health perspective, therefore effective and confident communication skills are necessary as well as a degree of initiative and autonomy. You are required to have a degree with high numerical statistical content and Experience of Information Management in a Health Care environment with experience at a senior level. The organisational standard is a 60/40 split of office/remote working.
