About the Role
As Head of Assembly, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a high-performing team while optimizing assembly operations. Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, your mission is to deliver world-class standards in quality, cost, and delivery through people-centric leadership and strategic manufacturing improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop your team of 6 Managers and 120+ staff, creating a motivated and engaged workforce.
* Promote a collaborative and high-performance culture, ensuring your team is equipped to succeed.
* Drive manufacturing improvements, focusing on Lean methodologies, process optimization, and waste elimination.
* Develop and execute the assembly strategy to meet customer expectations in quality, delivery, and cost.
* Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance team and operational performance.
* Oversee operational budgets, ensuring efficiency and financial accountability.
* Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to execute projects and drive innovation.

* Champion continuous learning and improvement to ensure your team evolves alongside business goals.
Championing Manufacturing Excellence
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize takt time, labor efficiency, and material utilization.
* Promote and maintain adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
* Leverage your knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence to deliver results.
The Ideal Candidate
* Essential Experience:
o 5+ years of leadership in assembly, production, or manufacturing operations.
o Proven ability to lead large teams, develop talent, and foster a positive culture.
o Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and quality assurance processes.
o Experience managing budgets, delivering on KPIs, and driving process improvements.
* Desirable:
o Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen certification.
o Previous experience scaling manufacturing operations.
Working Hours
* Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm | Friday: 8am-2:30pm.
* Flexibility required to support operational excellence.
