Job Description
1. Take the lead in developing business models to support business decisions. These could include Capital Expenditure requests and Rent models.
2. Building close working relationships with Director of Operations, Business Development Managers (BDMs), the wider finance team
3. Proactively support the business by providing detailed analysis relating to a wide range of topics including market analysis, prospect and pricing models, return on investment and marketing initiatives.
4. Development of timely Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and management reporting with presentations to management, monitoring performance against these KPIs to add insight and inform decision making.
5. Support BDMs to produce business cases (e.g. investments) by ensuring that they're commercially viable and produce an acceptable return.
6. Provide support to BDMs and Business Partners through the provision of relevant financial information and insights.
7. Initiate appraisal of potential opportunities to improve Business Partner support and business profitability.
8. Add value to proposals and investment decisions and insight into forecasting and planning processes, such as Budgets, Forecasts, Capital plans etc.
9. Support FP&A colleagues in the budgeting and forecasting processes for the pub partnership department.
10. Undertake ad-hoc Finance project work, as required.
