Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Paediatric Complex Care Nurse or a Registered Children’s Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a child’s life?
We are currently seeking a skilled nurse to provide essential support to a child in Margate with Complex Care needs.
In this rewarding role, you will ensure the child’s health and well-being, fostering a safe and nurturing environment whilst they attend school. The Role:
This client requires comprehensive nursing support to manage several clinical needs effectively. Key aspects of care include the management of a Hickman line, which necessitates regular monitoring for signs of infection, maintenance of sterile technique during access, and administration of medications as prescribed. Additionally, the client has an ileostomy that requires careful attention to skin integrity, stoma care, and monitoring for any complications.
The gastrostomy also requires regular care, including checking the insertion site for signs of infection and ensuring proper tube patency for feeding. This client is on a medication regimen that needs to be administered consistently and monitored. This multifaceted approach ensures the client’s health and well-being while providing a supportive and safe environment conducive to their learning and growth.
