Key Purpose of the Job The role is an exciting opportunity for a driven, focused and ambitious individual to build a career in International sales with a category leading Brand. You will be working with the Senior Head of International Sales to establish and analyse market opportunities, both through new routes to market and to optimising existing. You will also be support the drive for a continuous improvement to processes including tracking of deal progress internationally, supporting a number of distribution partners with business planning, and continue to drive forward ways of working in other areas to help ensure Millboard win in key international markets. This fantastic opportunity would suit a passionate, commercially minded person with an analytical skillet. This is a highly visible role and requires close engagement with numerous stakeholders both internally and externally. The position requires dynamism, proactivity and energy with a hunger to learn and improve the business as well as a dedicated focus on achieving targets and helping grow the Brand. Main Duties & Responsibilities · Through robust planning, support delivery of annual and longer term sales and profit numbers in line with market potential and channel objectives, and in accordance with the International Sales Strategy. · Driving growth of Millboard through establishment and analysis of opportunities that help optimise our routes to market. · Support identification of, and deploy optimised strategies for our Partners in each market to support brand development. Co-lead, monitor, and adjust strong and ambitious forecasts for each account in collaboration with Partners. · Assist Partners with the sharing of learnings and winning behaviours, information, materials and support they need to operate to their potential. · Work with partners to ensure we are delivering the Millboard proposition in to market in the most effective manner. · Support on negotiation of terms and agreements with new partners as well as renewal or with existing international partners. · Review existing processes and help continue to drive to improve these through a cross functional team. · Drive efficient reporting practices. · Ensure international requirements are filtered into Brand level content. · Utilise and facilitate learnings at a “Millboard 1st” level. · Build a strong Pentland network across brands and central functions. Skills, Capability & Experience Required · Strong natural commercial and analytical acumen with negotiation skills. · Ability to gather and analyse market information to make informed decisions. · Proven track record in a commercial capacity, preferably with both existing customers and through acquisitions. · Excellent attention to detail with an ability to communicate concise, accurate information both internally and externally. · First class prioritisation and organisation. · Ability to work across a variety of cultural environments. · Ability to have tough conversations internally and externally. · Capability of working independently with the ability to self-motivate. · Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. · A desire to challenge, invent and simplify. · Experience of implementing process improvements with strong results.
