At Watford Community Housing, we provide vital services that help people to live better lives. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join our Technology and Information Services team and help us deliver core housing software solutions to our residents.
As part of our Technology and Information Services (TIS) team, you will use your tech and customer skills to help us deliver our core housing software to both internal and external customers.
You’ll work effectively and collaboratively to ensure system functionality across all systems.
In this role you will need to:
1. Ensure a high standard of customer service.
2. Take personal responsibility for ensuring timely delivery of housing related software products.
3. Provide key updates on product delivery, end user adoption plans and key configuration requirements.
4. Provide technical solutions in line with customer requirements.
5. Provide hands-on system training to new end users and refreshers for existing staff, encouraging best practice.
6. Work with existing product SMEs to ensure best practice can be established across the business.
7. Explore and evaluate technology enhancements for new and existing solutions.
8. Assist in the maintenance of existing core housing related products.
You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. You will have a background in system development, and knowledge of the housing or construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.
Essential:
1. Demonstrable experience working with MRI housing management products or providing support for similar applications in a social housing environment.
2. Understanding of Asset management systems.
3. Training technical and non-technical users in applications and providing ongoing systems support.
4. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
5. Build constructive relationships with the IT support, Development and Reporting, and the wider customer base.
6. Proven experience in implementing, upgrading and configuring software solutions.
7. Auditing and configuring security principals and role profiles.
8. Ability to provide timely project delivery reports up to board level.
9. You will need to maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check.
Desirable:
1. Relevant qualification (e.g., Degree in Computer Science or IT professional qualification).
2. Writing, debugging and scripting.
3. Good knowledge of working with SQL/Progress databases.
4. Knowledge of the housing sector.
