Role: Regional Service Manager
Based: North Leeds
Rate:£25 - £28 umbrella

Duration: Temp for at least 6 weeks
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Our client, a specialist charity is looking to recruit a Regional Service Manager to manage all client facing services delivered across Yorkshire; working with 2 other Regional Managers, leading a team of staff, volunteers, Peer Advisors, and partners ensuring services are delivered in accordance with values and strategic ambitions and to a quality which meets agreed standards as a minimum.
Synopsis of duties:
* Have overall responsibility for the management and successful delivery of a diverse range of services to different cohorts across the region.
* Maintain current standards of delivery and adopt a pro-active approach to driving improvement of all aspects of our delivery.
* Provide leadership and management to a team of staff, Peer Advisors and volunteers ensuring behaviour and attitude are aligned with values, policy, and procedures.
* Line manage and supervise staff as required and ensure that all staff and volunteers receive support in line with policies and procedures including where appropriate induction, appraisals, and supervisions.
* Have accountability for all service delivery, ensuring there are lines of responsibility for all projects and contracts, and processes in place for their effective management and monitoring including reporting.
* Work collaboratively with partners, and other stakeholders to maintain and build on reputation and profile in the region.
* Work closely with the Head of Services and Fundraising team to develop new source of income, projects and other initiatives which support the sustainability and expansion of our delivery presence in the region.
* Ensure Peer based, lived experience approach continues to underpin service delivery.
* Ensure all service delivery complies with contractual and funding requirements including achievement of required performance indicators and targets including timely submission of data, reports etc.
* Support the financial management of all services, ensuring they are delivered within agreed budgets, staff expenses are processed in a timely and accurate manner, and external spending is carried out appropriately.
* Maintain processes to monitor activity, both performance and financial and provide clear, accurate and timely reports for both internal and external audiences.
* To work collaboratively with other managers and staff members including Senior Management Team, central services, and the Expert Panel; includes attending and presenting at meetings, working groups and other forums for sharing good practice, facilitating working towards common goals.
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Essential Requirements
* Experience of managing a range of different projects and contracts which provide support to service users experiencing a range of adverse challenges such as homelessness, offending, unemployment, debt, threat of violence and exploitation etc
* Experience of managing and supervising teams of staff and volunteers based in multiple locations or outreach across a wide geographical area
* Experience of managing partnerships and/or supply chains either as a contractor or sub-contractor
* Experience of planning and managing workload with the aim of achieving agreed performance objectives and reporting progress against performance indicators
* Experience of integrating service user involvement into service design, delivery and review to enhance and improve the quality of services.
