Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust believes in fairness, equity and values diversity in all aspects of its work, as a provider of health services and as an employer. We provide visa sponsorship to applicants who require a visa to work in the UK, provided the role meets the requirements set by the Home Office.
From 4 April 2024, overseas workers requiring a general Skilled Worker Visa (such as data analysts, IT and finance professionals) sponsored by an NHS organisation will need to meet the new salary threshold of £38,700. In addition, applications to the Health and Care Visa route for those occupations paid by NHS bands that are on the immigration salary list will need to meet the national pay scale for their role or the new minimum salary threshold of £23,200 (whichever is higher). We advise that you check that the role you wish to apply for meets the requirement for sponsorship before applying.

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Clerk to join our friendly and hard-working team at Whitchurch Hospital. The purpose of the role is to effectively support clinical staff and outside agencies in an administration role in a busy ward environment. This role requires someone highly motivated, well-organised, and confident in using their own initiative and computer systems while having a good eye for accuracy.
