About the Role :
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing team in the development of cutting-edge products within the safety and detection sectors. Our client, a British-owned company, designs, develops, tests, and manufactures all their products in their state-of-the-art facilities in Lancashire.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing new products, collaborating closely with a dynamic team of engineers across multiple disciplines. From initial concept to in-house testing and final production, you'll have the opportunity to see your designs come to life.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and develop a variety of new products, including both analogue and digital circuits.
Collaborate with engineers in a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.
Contribute to every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept through prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements.
Liaise with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into designs.
Skills and Experience Required :
Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
Proficiency in schematic capture and multilayer PCB design.
Experience with switch mode power supply (SMPS) design.
Desirable Skills and Experience :
Knowledge of EMC standards.
Experience in microcontroller design.
