The County Councils Flood Risk Management Team are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative, individual having at least one year’s experience of working in a drainage or highways environment dealing with technical information.
You must have a high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems and meet targets.
You will play a key role in a team responsible for managing flood risk across communities in Nottinghamshire. You will investigate drainage and flooding problems, undertake land drainage consents and inspect and gather information on watercourses. This will involve coordinating, imputing, processing and reporting of a variety of different data sources. You should be able to work on own initiative, to meet objectives with a willingness to broaden own knowledge, skills and experience.
