I am on the lookout for a dedicated Care Solicitor to join my client's legal team. This position requires a compassionate yet assertive individual who can manage sensitive cases with the utmost professionalism and care. My client is open to discussions from NQ level to 10 years PQE. The successful candidate will enjoy a very relaxed working environment with generous holidays and the option to work 1 day from home. Key Responsibilities: Handle a caseload of care and family law matters, including care proceedings, child protection, and related issues. Represent clients in court and at tribunal hearings, ensuring their rights and interests are effectively advocated. Provide expert legal advice to clients, including parents, guardians, and local authorities, regarding their rights and obligations. Draft and review legal documents, including statements, applications, and court forms. Engage in negotiations with opposing parties to reach favourable settlements where possible. Work closely with social services, medical professionals, and other relevant agencies to gather necessary evidence and build strong cases. Ensure all casework complies with current legislation, regulations, and best practice standards.
