Wellman Taverns, a dynamic and thriving pub group, is seeking an experienced and charismatic Supervisor to support the General Manager at The Spanish Galleon. If you have the character and determination to help manage this traditional pub, we want to hear from you!

As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the management team with the day-to-day running of the business. Your primary goal will be to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, while also fostering a positive work environment for our dedicated team.
About the pub
1. Serving British food
2. Stone’s throw away from the iconic Cutty Sark
3. Tied to Shepherd Neame Brewery, serve Shepherd Neame products
4. Ground level main pub
5. Upstairs dining room/ function room
About you as a Supervisor
1. Experienced supervisor in pubs (London preferred but not essential)
2. Strong leadership and communication skills
3. Has some brewery background and cellar knowledge – interest in cask ales
4. Customer service is the utmost important driving force, can help lead the team from the front
5. Can uphold the values of a traditional pub and present this with flawless service
6. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
7. Passion for food and drink
Responsibilities
1. Opening and closing of the business
2. Support the management team in the efficient running of the pubs, ensuring smooth operations on a daily basis
3. Demonstrate a passion for food and drink, taking pride in delivering a memorable experience for our guests
4. Work collaboratively as part of a team, encouraging and motivating team members to achieve excellence in customer service

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
