An opportunity has arisen to join the friendly, busy physiotherapy outpatient service, at Newquay Hospital, as a member of the Admin and Clerical team, providing patient facing reception support within the MSK physio department. We are a team of physiotherapists who accept and manage referrals from consultants, GPs, other healthcare professionals and self referral. The main role is to provide both patient facing reception and administrative cover to a busy outpatient physiotherapy department. The role involves patient facing department reception cover, organising diaries, letter writing, making and receiving telephone calls to organise appointments, ordering, data entry using our electronic booking and notes system.
You will need to be computer literate. You will be required to work using your own initiative within a busy team, with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work. This post is primarily based at Newquay and supporting Restormel MSK physio team, including both Newquay and St Austell OPD. This post is part time for 18.75 hours per week.
