DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team specialising in Logistics for our Customs and Trade Compliance Department in the United Kingdom. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Handling Customs Audits: Ensuring compliance with customs regulations by meticulously preparing for and managing audits, avoiding penalties and ensuring smooth operations. - Managing Bonded Warehouses and Inwards Processing: Utilising Duty Management Systems to efficiently manage bonded warehouses and inwards processing, optimising duty payments and inventory control. - Processing Duty Reclaims: Managing and processing duty reclaims to recover overpaid duties, contributing to cost savings and financial efficiency. - HS Classification: Accurately classifying goods under the Harmonized System (HS) to ensure correct duty payments and compliance with international trade regulations. - Researching and Monitoring Regulations: Keeping abreast of local laws, regulations, and procedures related to import/export transactions, and updating relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and leverage applicable benefits. - Building Relationships with Governmental Organisations: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with governmental bodies to facilitate smooth import/export processes and ensure timely approvals of licenses and permits. - Communicating with Brokers and Vendors: Collaborating with brokers, vendors, and other external resources to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and apply best practices to projects. - Ensuring Export Control Compliance: Monitoring and managing export control processes, including license applications and compliance controls, to prevent violations and support business needs.
