Senior Systems Engineer pivotal role supporting, maintaining, and enhancing technical systems and infrastructure for customer-facing and corporate services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver continuous incremental improvement of systems and infrastructure.
* Take end-to-end ownership and responsibility of technical solutions.
* Engineer solutions to complex challenges and business requests.
* Deliver on shared team priorities.
* Coach and mentor team members, fostering their success.
* Act as a technical escalation point.
* Document processes comprehensively to ensure team clarity.
* Drive tasks forward with energy and enthusiasm.
Essential Experience:
* Minimum 5 years in commercial environment supporting Linux Administration, application support, scripting, AWS, automation tools, troubleshooting, network and firewall knowledge, VMware, OpenStack, backup and replication technologies.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Apache, MSSQL, Postgres, networking, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines, public and private cloud platforms, standards including ISO9001, ISO27001.
* Previous experience in Telecoms business, comfortable with Kanban workload management approach, good communication and influencing skills.
Interpersonal Skills:
* Ability to influence and lead, supportive team player, open to giving and receiving feedback, alignment with company values and happiness objectives.
