Smith Brooke Architects is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified Part 3 to join its team in London.
We have an exciting roster of projects and are looking for a talented Part 2 or Part 3 to join our team.
With the common aim of providing our clients with results that are practical, contemporary and universal in their appeal, Smith Brooke Architects work on a large variety of projects, from small extensions in private houses to complete house renovations and commercial premises.
In addition to offering traditional architectural services, Smith Brooke also offers assistance with interior design, landscaping, gardens and furniture design, all ensuring that our clients receive a full and complete service.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong design and communication skills who would like to be involved in all aspects of job running across the RIBA stages, to join our busy studio in Clapham Common, working on a variety of high-end projects in London and throughout the UK.
Here’s what helps you stand out:
* Experience of running jobs on site and contract management, exceptional design and technical skills, understanding of construction process.
* Excellent design and presentation ability, particularly with regards to planning and technical documentation.
* CAD proficiency preferably Microstation, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Enscape preferable.
* Passionate about design with a love for both modern architecture and heritage buildings.
* Team spirit and experience working collaboratively.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Confidence in liaising directly with clients and contractors.
* Confidence taking initiative and manage tasks independently.
* Good understanding of UK building regulations.
