* Job Title: Sports Lecturer
* Location: Chelmsford, Essex
* Hourly Rate: Up to £40 per hour
* Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Sports Lecturer to deliver BTEC Level 1 to 3 Sports courses. The ideal candidate will inspire students, provide engaging lessons, and support their development in both theoretical and practical aspects of sports.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering BTEC Level 1-3 Sports courses
* Preparing and assessing lessons and assignments
* Monitoring student progress and offering support
* Maintaining accurate records of attendance and progress
* Ensuring health and safety standards in practical sessions
Requirements:
* Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, etc.)
* BTEC qualification at Level 1-3 (or equivalent experience)
* Experience teaching sports at BTEC Level 1-3
* Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
