As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products reach customers efficiently while gaining experience within strategic sourcing. The role is based at our location in Glenrothes, Scotland; and you will be reporting directly to Procurement Manager, based in Denmark. Your main responsibilities: Support Procurement & Operations : Ensure seamless purchasing of steel and finished goods from global suppliers, keeping our supply chain running smoothly. Optimize Supply Chain Processes : Lead initiatives that improve supplier performance, reduce stock challenges, and enhance efficiency. Collaborate & Influence : Work closely with teams across the business to support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and implement effective inventory strategies. Own Key Metrics & Insights : Leverage data to drive smart decision-making, track performance, and continuously improve processes. Build Strong Supplier Relationships : Partner with suppliers, ensuring compliance, managing contracts, and resolving challenges proactively. Contribute to Major Projects : Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge ERP systems and play a key role in a large-scale digital transformation project. Skills and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management. 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain. Strong communication skillset – you are confident engaging with different stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying cool under pressure. Experience working with vendors or customers (a plus). Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems, and other digital tools. Ability to thrive in a multinational, fast-paced environment.
