About the Role
Join our dynamic Technical team and support our hospitality candidates in achieving their learning goals by providing assistance and support to the technician team in the day to day organisation of the School.
Key Responsibilities
• Support in the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment
• Routine maintenance of equipment within the areas responsible for.
• Assist technical and academic staff in the preparation of materials and equipment
• Assist technical and academic staff identify the availability of equipment and consumables
• Dispense stocks and materials to staff and students
• Undertake any other duties required

Qualifications and Experience
• Essential:
o A good standard of numeracy and literacy
o A working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practice
• Desirable:
o HNC or equivalent (SCQF Level 7) in a technical subject
o IOSH Working Safely

• Essential:
o Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
o Have effective communication skills
o Enthusiasm for the task
o High degree of flexibility
o Be willing to undertake staff development as necessary
