In response to an increased demand for our service, local commissioners have made an investment in IAPT and we have an exciting opportunity for one full time equivalent Employment Advisor to work across North Yorkshire (Northallerton, Harrogate, Whitby and Scarborough).
We are currently working from home but moving forward the EA role is likely to be a mix of remote home based delivery/community venue delivery and some site based work as required, depending on client/service need going forward.

The North Yorkshire Talking Therapies service is an integrated Step 2, Step 3 and counselling service covering the North Yorkshire., The Talking Therapies Employment Advisors are fully integrated into the Talking Therapies team and work closely with clinical colleagues. The role will be to ensure the service offers an integrated package of psychological therapy and employment support.
The post holder will support service users with common mental health problems to gain, return to or retain employment. The role will involve working directly with Jobcentre Plus, employers, trade unions and employment agencies to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities., New members of staff will be offered a full induction programme and training where necessary and as an established part of the whole Talking Therapies team our employment advisors receive regular supervision and attend whole team events and CPD opportunities., TEWV encourages and supports all staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID19.
