Project Engineer - Lintott
Norwich (Hybrid Working Possible)
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try with Lintott, who are part of the Galliford Try Group.
In the role of Project Engineer, you will co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of the Lintott Site Services Team, ensuring they are properly equipped, prepared, and informed to execute the tasks scheduled. This role requires a well-organised and enthusiastic individual to engineer, plan & organise site works being undertaken across the UK.
The key objectives of the appointment are:
1. To engineer and plan site works, ensuring correct equipment, tooling and materials are available to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality installations of the Lintott product on-site.
2. To provide direct liaison to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a clear plan and leveraging support from stakeholders where required to deliver outcomes.
3. To liaise with any other area of the business as is necessary to organise and attend 'ready for site' sessions, conducting desktop site works rehearsals and ensuring thorough preparation.
4. To produce & oversee fulfilment of works Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits to Work, Toolbox Talks, COSHH assessments and safe working procedures, ensuring the health and safety of personnel for the working activity.
5. To undertake site audits/visits, producing and submitting any required site reports and overseeing standards of workmanship & professionalism for Lintott systems and installations.
About You:
1. Relevant/similar project engineering experience within a customer-based or customer focused environment.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Experience in management of Health and Safety responsibilities and implementing safe systems of work.
4. HNC or above in relevant technical discipline. This may be substituted for significant, demonstrable working experience.
5. City & Guilds/NVQ in relevant technical discipline.
