Project Coordinator - Telford
The Company
* My client is a highly successful SME, providing specialist services to construction, infrastructure, MOD, manufacturing, rail and general industry sectors. They are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join them in their modern premises in Telford, working as part of their dynamic and friendly team.
The Role
As my client's new Project Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensure the delivery of contracts, frameworks and projects to time, quality and cost.
* Understand and administer the safety arrangements of the company when planning projects.
* Ensure cost controls are in place to enable the efficient delivery of projects.
* Maintain effective project control systems and address areas for improvement, using business portal, record and monitor project information.
* Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the allocated projects.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
* Ensure applications to local authorities and stakeholders are in place where applicable.
* Contribute to project meetings and liaise with customers, stakeholders, local authorities and infrastructure networks.
* Coordinate and provide the necessary documentation and work instructions to operational teams to safely complete the job.
* Track project performance against established milestones and timelines.
* Ordering plant, fittings and site materials in conjunction with the Business Administrator.
* Help to create, maintain, and enforce project standards and quality assurance processes.
* Active participant in weekly project meetings and present project status updates to senior management.
* Ensuring Job/QA Packs are complete for their respective projects at the completion (where required).
* Ensure RO/NRO/SCO resources are booked and available to ensure compliance.
* Monitoring team attendance and holidays in conjunction with the Site Supervisors.

To be considered for the role of Project Coordinator, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
* At least 2 years experience in a similar role, within a relevant sector and discipline - construction, engineering, infrastructure.
* Skill and efficiency in managing project process.
* Understanding what influences and impacts success, margin, profitability and growth.
* Collaborative team player who enjoys being part of a small lively team.
* A self-starter who can work on your own initiative.
* Excellent planning and organizational ability, to prioritise and organise work flow.
* You are analytical and conscientious.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong relationship building skills - with customers, stakeholders and colleagues.
* Competent Word and Excel user.
* Preferably familiar with MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD and MS Project.
* Committed, with enthusiasm and passion for a job well done; achieving the best business outcomes.
