I am an older lady living in Sketty with my daughter and granddaughter. I have dementia and need to be supervised. I love to go and about looking around keeping me motivated. I don’t like watching TV very much. I also enjoy gardening. I enjoy singing and would like to go to a singing club on a Friday. I also enjoy company.
Hours of work
7.5 hours per week must be flexible.
Possible evenings/ other hours/ Sundays
Rate of pay: £12.75
Tasks involved
• Prompt me to get ready and make sure I look tidy
• Make me a hot drink and some lunch
• Take me to the garden centre for a look around
• Take me out for a cup of tea
• Take me to a supermarket for a look around
• Take me to a signing club
• Let me help doing things so I am independent
• Help me get ready for bed

Concerning the position
You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay calculated. A DBS will need to be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs are met by Swansea council.
