* Visit information sources and project sites to gather critical data and uncover additional opportunities for success.
* Brainstorm and develop creative, alternative solutions that could set the tender apart from the competition.
* Request proposals from subcontractors and suppliers, then evaluate them to find the most competitive and reliable options.
* Apply existing knowledge and expertise, and tap into the wider Boskalis network for support in areas like soil evaluation, contractual and legal considerations, and risk management.
* Work with the Head of Business Development and Estimating to establish the tender price, carefully document any risks, and solidify the overall approach.
* Prepare detailed methodology, clear contractual clarifications, and all required documentation to ensure a standout submission.
* Support the Project Team during the post-award phase to ensure seamless preparation and execution.
* Visit project sites to evaluate methods, identify deviations, and suggest improvements for future efficiency.
* Seek feedback from the Project Manager after execution to analyse performance and refine processes for subsequent costing purposes.
* Always uphold or exceed WOW (Way of Working) and NINA (No Injuries, No Accidents) standards, ensuring a culture of safety and excellence.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* An understanding of marine projects, preferably within the UK and/or Irish markets.
* Contract experience – we work with a wide range, including NEC, ICC & FIDIC.
* Previous experience of managing a tender process and interacting with clients and sub-contractors.
* Working in a team to achieve high quality submissions within strict deadlines.
* A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
