Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting for Mathematics specialist to join our team working in schools across Northamptonshire who are looking for support within their departments as of September 2025. As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in planning, and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across key stages as well as marking students classwork and providing feedback. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, helping them to develop their understanding of the world around them. This position is ideal for a passionate educator who is adaptable and ready to make a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, and deliver high quality lessons, and mark students work
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
* Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
* Maintain classroom discipline and promote a safe learning environment.
Requirements
* A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
* Qualification in Geography is ideal
* Deep Understanding for Mathematical concepts
* Excellent classroom management
* Experience working in Secondary Education
* A child only enhanced DBS
* An overseas police clearance (if applicable)
* Ability and want to guide and inspire the next generation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
