Priory Hospital East Midlands provides acute and psychiatric intensive care services to those in need, comprising of 2 Acute wards (both with 9 beds) and a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 10 beds. We are dedicated to providing innovative, high-quality care, enabling patients’ recovery and re-engagement with the community. Our wards offer assessment and treatment to females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

The role of the Deputy Ward Manager is to provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager. The Deputy Ward Manager will have clinical expertise and leadership that provides confidence to the nursing team and the ward overall. They will have defined delegated responsibilities from the Ward Manager, with protected time for management duties and supervisory responsibilities for an agreed group of staff.
