About the Hostel Stonebridge Park is a 27 bed Hostel funded by the council to provide support to vulnerable men over the age of 22 with a history of rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping. They present with a multitude of support needs. The hostel is staffed 24/7, made up of day staff and night staff, an administrator. Assistant manager and a Services manager More about your role Reporting to the Assistant Services Manager, the Complex Needs Support Worker will play a key role in the delivery of effective and quality services to customers and stakeholders in line with contractual and legal requirements. As well as ensuring our customers receive high quality guidance and support, you will have a case load of 5/6 customers and you will ensure the accurate recording of information and safeguarding of all customers on a daily basis. This role operates a rolling rota with 3 x 12-hour shifts. In addition, you will work 1 weekend in 5. This is under review currently More about you You will have a customer focussed approach and contribute to the assessment of new customers. This will include explaining tenancy conditions, support service available, rent payment arrangements and any scheme policies and procedures. In addition to complying with data protection legislation, you will escalate incidents that may arise. Handling of calls from stakeholders (both internal and external) and ensuring administration is up to date is also an integral part of the role. We will expect you to act as a representative for the Service and build strong relationships with multi-disciplinary organisations in the area.
