Full time, Monday–Friday, 8.30am – 5pm.
About the role
You will be a key member of the team, learning how to support our busy Early Careers Recruitment team. It's a demanding, challenging and rewarding role.
We are looking for someone who has excellent IT and administration skills, as well as good communication and interpersonal abilities. You'll learn transferable skills, such as time management, while improving your knowledge and understanding of our apprenticeship recruitment journey and managing both candidates and various stakeholders. With the support of the Early Careers team, you will be trained in our full process as well as outreach to promote our fantastic apprenticeship opportunities.
Day-to-day duties
* Preparing apprenticeship applications, test results and interview notes.
* Placing and following up on adverts for apprenticeship roles with job centres and online agencies.
* Managing a database of candidates, contacting and testing them to ensure suitability and eligibility.
* Screening candidates and hosting assessment events.
* Providing constructive feedback to all candidates.
* Reviewing application progress and interview performance by telephone and in writing.
* Managing all inter-company apprentice and work experience recruitment.
* Ensuring records are kept in line with legislative requirements and key processes.
* Presenting to key stakeholders to encourage them to promote our business.
* Attending schools, colleges and business events, which may include some evening and weekend work.
* Maintaining up to date specifications for apprenticeship frameworks.
* Various administrative duties as required such as apprentice travel arrangements and data input required by training provider.

* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* An enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
* A full, clean driving licence held for a minimum of one year.
Please note: some work away from home may be required.
Nice to have (but not essential)
* Recruitment experience specifically in relation to apprenticeships.
* Knowledge of apprenticeship advertising platforms, for example My World of Work, Universal Job Match, etc.
