Based at our Luton manufacturing plant youll do just that. Established in 1993, GKN Aerospace in Luton is a world leader in commercial and military ice protection systems and transparencies. Offering a full range of capabilities; design, analysis, testing, certification and manufacture of electro-thermal ice protection, military fast jet canopies and flight deck windows to over 20 programmes including: Boeing 787, Dreamliner, Airbus A320, AgustaWestland, AW101, Eurofighter Typhoon and Lockheed, Martin F-22 Raptor. Our customers include Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Bell Helicopters, Textron, BAE Systems, Pratt & Whitney, Leonardo. Our Luton site is home to 370 employees and onsite facilities including onsite parking, food hub and vending machines. Based at our Luton Manufacturing site as the Accounts Administrator youll join the Finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. The Accounts Administrator will provide daily maintenance and control of Accounts Payable ledger, dealing with supplier queries, working with the procurement function to enable issues to be resolved in a timely manner. This opportunity is a 12 month fixed-term contract of 37 hours per week. There is flexibility to the hours of work while ensuring the core business hours of 09:00 to 15:00 are supported. Job Responsibilities Creditors reporting Producing & maintaining AP Key performance indicators Supporting month end process Record accounts Payable Invoices Participating in internal audits (where applicable) Produce weekly payment run of all currencies Produce monthly statement reconciliations Be compliant with the Companys Environmental, Health & Safety and Energy procedures Profile description: How You'll Contribute To help us make a difference, youll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes: Essential: GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English Experience of working within Administration Able to work on own initiative and with excellent accuracy Good knowledge of Excel & Microsoft packages Ability to work silo & in team situations efficiently and effectively Desirable: Experience of working in Finance Accounting or Finance Administration AAT or equivalent qualification within Finance / Accounting Experience within the Manufacturing industry Experience of working with SAP or an ERP system We are looking for people who want to make a difference, talented members with the skills and passions to become the best of the future in what they do.
