In this role, you will be fully immersed in the fast-paced world of exhibitions, events, and digital engagement, with a primary focus on account management. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of existing key clients, nurturing and growing long-term relationships while also spearheading efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Managing and developing a portfolio of key client accounts. Identifying new sales opportunities through existing client networking. Collaborating with internal departments to plan and organize events to the highest standard. Serving as the main client contact for each event, ensuring exceptional client service and communication. Evaluating client requirements, understanding long-term objectives, and strategizing for account growth and diversification. Preparing design briefs and detailed quotations, maintaining desired profit margins. Working closely with clients and operations teams throughout project processes to ensure seamless implementation. Utilising our internal CRM system to manage pipelines, targets, and report on success. Additional Responsibilities: Coordinate all aspects of exhibition planning and execution, including logistics, venue coordination, and booth setup. Liaise with exhibition organizers and vendors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in exhibition management. Assist in the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies to attract attendees to exhibitions. Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate exhibition participation into overall marketing campaigns. Provide regular updates and reports to management on the status of exhibition projects and client accounts. Act as a brand ambassador for Whitespace Group at exhibitions and industry events, networking with potential clients and partners. Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to foster their professional growth. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism in client interactions and business dealings. The Account Manager as with everyone in the business, is responsible for observing, improving, and maintaining compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards to ensure continuous adherence to environmental and quality management systems Qualifications: Education: Industry experience is a must Experience: 2 years of demonstrated experience in exhibition/event sales and/or account management. Previous experience in project management is desirable but not essential. Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, fostering trust and loyalty. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure, while also thriving in a team environment. Proficiency in creating high-quality presentations, tender documents, and other client-facing materials. Confidence in liaising with senior-level clients and addressing complex requirements. Exceptional multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage pipelines, track targets, and generate reports on success metrics. Vendor Relationship Management: Rating of vendor satisfaction and performance based on feedback and contract adherence. Quality of Deliverables: Assessment of the quality and accuracy of event deliverables such as graphics, signage, and installations. Working Conditions: 09:00 – 17:30 hrs based in SW19 2QA Travel: This role may require occasional travel to event venues, client meetings, and industry conferences. Physical Demands: The position may involve standing, walking, and lifting light to moderate objects during event setup and teardown. Flexible Hours: The nature of event management may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate client needs and event schedules.
