About the role This role plays a vital part in the next phase of Reading's digital transformation. It will be key to delivering high-quality application management services across the council. Based within the application support team, the role includes supporting key systems such as our social care application. Our ideal candidate should be able to perform well under pressure, possess strong troubleshooting skills, and, when needed, provide training to end users. You must demonstrate the ability to take initiative to drive continuous improvement and have direct experience in supporting application upgrades. Experience in working with a team managing multiple applications is essential, and familiarity with social care systems will be considered an advantage.
