We are looking for Band 5 nurses to join our small but friendly multidisciplinary team of nurses, pharmacists, AHP and Consultants. The NHSHome service provides a 7-day service, currently 0800-1830 expanding to provide a 12 hour service (no nights) but we can offer flexible working arrangements. We have roles based at Weston General Hospital but provide care for patients in their homes living in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. Main duties of the job NHSHome acts as an extension to our UHBW Hospitals in Bristol and Weston, enabling patients to go home to continue their hospital treatments in the comfort of their own homes. The B5 role in our team will allow you to continue to utilise and develop your acute clinical and leadership skills whilst applying them to the care of patients in their home setting. As nurse in the NHSHome team, you will be involved in community-based care, currently Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapies, Frailty, Acute Respiratory, Infection, Heart Failure and General Surgical/Medical, providing care for our patients in the place they call home. You will work autonomously, delivering individualised treatments and care to our patients in their own homes; enabling our patients to leave hospital sooner and prevent hospital admissions. This role will enable you to continue to utilise and develop new clinical skills, knowledge, and expertise and we will support you with the training you will require (such as managing elastomeric devices to deliver antimicrobials and diuretics and PICC removal).
