Supervising staff working in the kitchen. You must be aware of HACCP Procedures and ensure all Paperwork including electronic returns are completed and submitted according. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs of the residents within the Care Home. Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, its surround. Enhancements are paid for unsociable hours and weekend working. We currently have a permanent vacancy to join our team in the following Care Home working 32.5 hours per week, 52-week contract, on a 4-week rota working 2 weekends on and 2 weekends off. Training on In House systems will be provided. Working towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate will be essential once in post. The Person Do you have Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent? Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a Team. Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
