Job Description
Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 5 days per week.
Location: Apsida Life Science HQ, Redhill, Surrey, United Kingdom. This is an office based position, with one day per week working from home.
Reporting Line: Head of Marketing & Events
Apsida Life Science is a rapidly growing recruitment company specialising in the life sciences industry, with headquarters in Surrey, UK, and additional offices in London and Boston. We’re known for our integrity, expertise, and a client-first approach that focuses on building lasting relationships rather than simple transactions. Our mission is to be trusted advisors, offering quality-driven, customised recruitment solutions that help guide both clients and candidates through each stage of their journey.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter Marketing Associate who will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Events to bring fresh ideas and support the execution of Apsida Life Science’s marketing strategy. If you’re passionate about creating compelling content, engaging audiences, and working on projects that drive both brand visibility and community engagement, this role is for you. You'll be given clear guidelines and the freedom to innovate, with a focus on creating an impactful online presence and engaging content that attracts candidates, clients, and future Apsida team members alike.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design visually appealing and brand-aligned graphics for social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook) and internal communications using tools like Canva.
* Develop and publish creative, engaging content across multiple formats: blogs, newsletters, marketing emails, social media posts, and website updates.
* Work with the Head of Marketing to brainstorm, develop, and execute marketing campaigns that drive engagement, boost brand visibility, and attract both new clients and talent to Apsida Life Science.
* Stay current on industry trends, social media best practices, and new content tools, and proactively bring fresh ideas to the table.
* Help produce multimedia content (e.g., short videos, podcasts, infographics) to support Apsida’s unique voice and expand our reach across digital channels.
* Track the performance of content and social media posts, making adjustments based on data insights to optimise engagement and growth.
Ideal Qualifications:
* Marketing degree or equivalent professional experience.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful, with an eagerness to contribute ideas and work autonomously in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management skills; able to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Confidence in using Canva and other content creation tools, with an eye for design and strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable with social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, and a knack for growing and engaging digital audiences.
* Strong copywriting skills, capable of crafting engaging captions and posts when needed.
* Proactive, with a natural curiosity for industry trends and digital marketing best practices, especially as they relate to recruitment.
* An interest in growing within the role, taking on increasing responsibilities, and advancing alongside our team.
