In addition to the above you will:

* Lead monthly forecasting meetings and profit and loss reviews.
* Analyse financial information to aid in the submission of tenders and business improvement opportunities.
* Assist in preparing monthly claims to submit to customers.
* Prepare ad hoc and analytical reports as required, including reconciliations, investigations and other comparative reporting requirements.
* Train and support the assigned business unit managers to meet the requirements on financial aspects of the business.
* Take part in developing our carbon/sustainable reporting for the local business.
* Take an active role in preparing annual budgets.
* Support external and internal audit processes.
* Assist with training and supervision of junior team members.
* Any other administrative duties as required.
We’re looking for someone with:
* A relevant tertiary qualification.
* CA or CPA qualification, or working toward such a qualification.
* 3+ years of management accountant experience.
* Excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills.
* Highly proficient in the use of MS Office.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent communication skills across both verbal and written mediums.
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
* Alignment with our values of Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude & Leadership.
* Previous exposure to construction and maintenance programs of work would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will enjoy working with numbers, using systems and processes to try to increase efficiency, and interacting with the wider group to ensure deadlines are met and information is understood.
Creating, Connecting and caring for the community
Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities. Our focus aims to also reduce our impact on the environment, and regenerate healthy new ecosystems. We look to partner with others to lift the standards of our industry and show customers lower-impact, sustainable ways of delivering infrastructure.
All successful candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen prior to employment.
We celebrate and embrace diversity across our business and are committed to equal employment opportunities.
We believe in the value that diversity brings to our team and people who share our REAL values are encouraged to apply.
