Job Title: Fabricator/ Welder
Location: Tredegar
Salary: £15.50 per hour anything over 40 hours paid at time and half
Hours: Full time. Monday – Friday, 6am-4pm which is a minimum 50 hours a week with plenty of additional overtime available on weekends
Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Fabricator/Welder to work for a company based in Tredegar of a full time and permanent contract.
Main Job Roles
1. ?Competently carrying out TIG, MIG and MMA welding on all metals, including mild steel and stainless steel
(advantage if able to work with aluminium).
2. Ability to work from drawings supplied and draw up work from site visits and fabricate as needed – including
completing all necessary paperwork.
3. Inspect all components, to ensure they have been completed to a high standard.
4. Must be a good team player, however, also able to work using your own initiative.
5. Follow company health and safety procedures and wearing the correct uniform and PPE.
6. Keep a neat and tidy workspace.
Required
7. NVQ3 welding qualification (minimum).
8. Minimum 3 years’ experience.
9. Experience with hand-held and power tools to assist work.
10. MIG & TIG experience
11. Willing to work overtime and most weekends
12. Willingness to work at height as part of our operation. This could be either on scaffolding, ladders, or
powered machines (such as cherry pickers and scissor lifts etc).
