We are seeking a highly motivated Offshore Telecomms Technician to join our clients team, providing essential Telecomms support across Southern North Sea Assets. This role is integral to maintaining and supporting a wide range of offshore telecommunications systems. Key Responsibilities: Telecommunications Maintenance: Line of Sight Microwave Radio PAGA Systems IP-Based Networks Multiplexers Marine & Airband VHF Radios (Fixed and Portable) ATEX Certified Equipment Maintenance (COMPEX Certified) Fibre Optic Systems Weather Monitoring Systems Satellite Technology Entertainment Systems Knowledge of Process Control Systems Project Management: Experience with GOC/MOC processes, including project ownership from design through to installation and commissioning. Management of Telecoms Projects. Supervision of vendors and third-party contractors. Operational Tasks: Perform trade-scheduled maintenance. Conduct EX inspections in line with Perenco UK procedures. Repair and maintain equipment integrity. Fault finding and troubleshooting independently under pressure. Produce handovers, reports, and recommendations. Safety and Compliance: Understand and adhere to Performance Standards & Safety Cases. Utilize permit to work and Maximo maintenance management systems. Safely maintain platforms within operational and maintenance procedures. Operate safety and environmentally critical systems competently. Experience / Qualifications: Offshore Experience: Offshore experience with current valid offshore certification and medical. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of radio principles, propagation, multiplexing, and digital techniques. Experience with microwave radio, fibre optics, multiplexers, satellite comms, marine/aero VHF, public address systems, telephone exchanges, IP networking, and IT equipment. Knowledge of ATEX requirements and UK Offshore Working Requirements. Preferred Certifications: SUEPEE or COMPEX qualifications.
