Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Wythenshawe
Salary: Up to £32,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrating a strong customer focus while completing all tasks.
2. Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software and End User problems with a deep understanding and acknowledgement of issues.
3. Working with and understanding Desktop and Server operating systems, applications, and database platforms.
4. Reacting to escalated queries with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Managing your own and the team's ticket queue, adhering to defined KPIs and SLAs.
6. Ensuring all customer queries/issues are resolved within a timely manner, whether remotely or face to face.
7. Building and managing all end-user devices, including Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Mobile Phones, and Printers.
8. Supporting any application issues, such as Office 365 and off-the-shelf applications, ensuring all business needs are met.
9. Ensuring an excellent user experience when using company assets through continuous hardware improvements to prevent performance degradation.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience in IT support roles up to a 2nd line support level.
2. Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software.
3. Familiarity with Desktop and Server operating systems, applications, and databases.
