We are currently offering an exciting two-year (4 x 6-month rotations) graduate program for Engineering Graduates in Perth. As a Western Power engineering graduate, you will acquire a broad understanding of Western Power’s operations through rotational exposure across our business. As part of our two-year program which will be followed by permanent appointment upon demonstrating strong performance and successful completion of the graduate program, you will develop and apply engineering knowledge and skills in an operational capacity. Throughout your rotations, you will also attain relevant competencies that will contribute toward registration as a professional engineer.

What we’re looking for
To be successful, you’ll have the following skills and attributes: -
1. Engineering Degree with an Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications or Civil Engineering discipline that is recognised by Engineers Australia as satisfying the academic requirements for appointment as a professional engineer.
2. Enthusiastic approach to learning opportunities, including seeking and accepting feedback to enhance your own development and experience.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willing to work with a diverse range of people.
4. Constructive behaviours in line with Western Power values.
5. Motivation and commitment to complete the graduate program.
6. Commitment to safety in the workplace.
7. Reside in WA and be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or hold a valid working visa.
