Based in Exeter, this well-established and successful firm acts for a wide range of clients across varying industries and turnovers, including smaller sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, larger corporate clients (up to around £20 million turnover), charities, and other clients providing audit services. Due to a combined replacement need and ongoing, sustained positive growth, the firm is looking to bring in the right additional Senior Accountant / Aspiring Manager to join their team as a key addition. The firm has a long-serving, stable team offering a supportive and team-focused culture and environment, with study support on offer for those pursuing qualifications.
Job Description
Joining as Senior Accountant / Aspiring Manager based from the firm's Exeter offices, you will be responsible for the hands-on delivery of audit (circa 40%), accounts, tax, and wider services (60%) to clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will develop client relationships, taking on increasing client portfolio and management responsibility, working on wider advisory/business services and delivering wider project work as you develop and carve a career within this firm, with a genuine career and progression path on offer.
The Successful Applicant
For this Senior Accountant / Aspiring Manager role, you may be qualified/part qualified/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA / ACCA, with a career background within audit/accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of clients across varying industry sectors and turnovers, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Senior levels and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity.
